Cross-Border Medical Cooperation

11 December 2025, a delegation of teachers and students from the Cross-Border E-Commerce major of Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology visited Vitamed Medical for exchange and inspection. Led by professional teachers, the delegation included several Tunisian international students, aiming to build a bridge for international cooperation between universities and enterprises and deepen the integration of production and education in the field of cross-border e-commerce. Charles, Founder and General Manager of Vitamed Medical, who was in Shanghai, specially recorded a welcome video to send his blessings. Ms. Lily Long, Director of the Overseas Business Department, hosted the reception and led the exchange throughout the event, bringing an interactive experience with both industrial depth and international perspective to the visiting teachers and students.

At the beginning of the event, General Manager Charles extended a warm welcome to the delegation via video. He introduced in the video that since its establishment in 2007, Vitamed Medical has always adhered to the positioning of "Practitioner of Global Health Access", focusing on the import and export of medical devices. Its product portfolio covers core categories such as ostomy care and urinary incontinence care, which are exported to more than 80 countries and regions worldwide. With 46 trademarks, 26 patents, and international certifications including ISO13485 and EU CE, the company has established a high-quality brand image in the global cross-border medical trade market. "Cross-border e-commerce has injected new vitality into the globalization of the medical and health industry, and international talents are the core link connecting the global market," Charles said. The cross-border e-commerce professionals cultivated by Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology and the international perspective of Tunisian students are highly aligned with Vitamed Medical's globalization strategy. He expressed expectations for building a long-term cooperation mechanism based on this exchange.
Subsequently, Ms. Lily Long, Director of Vitamed Medical's Overseas Business Department, gave a detailed introduction to the company's development history, core business layout, and cross-border e-commerce operation practices. She focused on sharing the company's industrial experience in digital supply chain management, multilingual market adaptation, and international compliance certifications. Combining the company's market expansion cases in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, she analyzed the core pain points and innovative paths of cross-border trade in medical products. Addressing the North African market potential concerned by Tunisian students, Lily specifically mentioned that Vitamed Medical is actively expanding into the African market. As a regional pioneer in cross-border e-commerce in North Africa, Tunisia's improved network infrastructure and policy support provide broad space for cooperation between the two parties.
In the in-depth exchange session, the team from Vitamed Medical's Overseas Business Department had a heated discussion with Tunisian students on topics such as compliance requirements for cross-border e-commerce of medical products, logistics solutions, and localized marketing. Based on their understanding of consumer habits in the Middle East and African markets, the international students put forward constructive suggestions on product adaptability and payment channel optimization. Enterprise representatives interpreted the core competency requirements for cross-border e-commerce positions and the industry's talent demand standards for teachers and students. The leading teacher from Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology stated that this exchange allowed students to intuitively experience the industrial reality of cross-border medical e-commerce. In particular, Vitamed Medical's "Technology + Compliance + Localization" operation model provided a vivid corporate sample for the college's "Three-Stage Dual-Mentorship · Cross-Border Integration" talent training model.
As an enterprise with 18 years of experience in cross-border medical device trade, Vitamed Medical has always attached great importance to international talent cooperation and the integration of production and education. The visit of teachers, students, and Tunisian international students from Changzhou Vocational Institute of Mechatronic Technology not only built an international exchange platform between enterprises and universities but also injected new vitality into talent training and market expansion in the field of cross-border medical e-commerce. In the future, both parties will further explore diversified cooperation paths such as joint development of school-enterprise cooperative courses, establishment of internship and training bases, and joint development of international markets. This will help cross-border e-commerce talents develop both professional literacy and international perspective, and jointly promote the high-quality global development of the medical and health industry.
