Against this backdrop, themed “Building Sci‑Tech Resources · Exploring New Opportunities for Healthcare Industry Global Expansion”, the KEDGE Alumni China Healthcare Industry Club joined hands with the Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci‑Tech Innovation Corridor and the operator of its Medical Device Global Expansion Service Base to launch this in‑depth dialogue bringing together Sino‑French industrial insights.
On the afternoon of August 29, the delegation first visited the G60 Sci‑Tech Innovation Corridor Exhibition Center. Guided by Yang Ren, Executive Director of the G60 Medical Device Global Expansion Service Base, together with official interpreters, alumni toured the achievement exhibition zone. They gained systematic insights into the cross‑city industrial collaboration layout of the nine member cities, with special focus on current status and future plans for healthcare‑related clusters such as medical devices and biomedicine. Innovative achievements of key enterprises offered the delegates direct perception of the robust momentum of the Yangtze River Delta as a new highland for China’s healthcare industry.
The delegation then travelled to the Yangtze River Delta G60 Medical Device Global Expansion Service Base (No.111 Sizhuan Road, Sijing Town, Songjiang District). Serving as a full‑chain global‑expansion service platform for medical‑device enterprises under the G60 Sci‑Tech Innovation Corridor, the base covers core links including R&D compliance, product certification, market development, channel matching and after‑sales services. President Chen Wei gave a presentation titled Practical Pathways for Medical‑device Expansion into European and Global Markets. Drawing on VITAIMED’s long‑term operational experience in Germany and broader Europe, he systematically unpacked the evolution of Chinese medical‑device brands from “product export” to “global brand building”. He pointed out that global expansion for medical‑device enterprises is no longer competition in isolated links, but an all‑round contest of end‑to‑end capabilities: product planning, R&D, supply chain, customer acquisition, client operation, team management, compliance certification, after‑sales service and brand communication. With real‑world European‑market cases, he analysed regulatory discrepancies, cultural barriers and channel characteristics across different countries, delivering highly actionable global‑expansion methodologies for alumni enterprises.
